Road trip printables for tweens

Summer time means that many are packing up the family truckster and hitting the road! To help make your road trip as fun as possible, here’s a roundup of road trip printables for tweens to take with you on your journey.

Road trip printables for tweens

License Plate Bingo – You can find six different printable versions of the game here

Would You Rather – We love playing this game and usually come up with questions on the fly, but printing them out could be fun. They go the cute route of putting the questions in a mason jar, but in the interest of saving space, I may just stash them in an envelope.

Travel Scavenger Hunt for Tweens – “The best thing about having tweens and teens is that the games can get more complex than the standard travel bingo game with pictures, and that they still get a kick out of a all things gross and goofy.  So a travel scavenger hunt that combines harder items to find with some that are funny and kind of icky?  Perfect!” says Carla Schauer, the mom who create this hunt.

Big Kid Highway Quest – When “scavenger hunt” seems too childish.

Spot The Car – When you have a kid who prefers to hunt for cars before anything else.

Mad Libs – Mad Libs are a hit with my tween and her bonus dad. You can find printable Word Libs, which are pretty much the same thing without the copyright, with all different themes here.

Battleship – Who says you can’t play this game while zooming across land? This includes instructions for how to play in the car.

Road Trip Word Hunt – Big enough to keep them busy, but use caution if car sickness is a possibility for your kiddo.
